| "Elernal-noble-spirit"
Gateway |

¡¡¡¡The
gateway was set up in 1936. It is 31 metres
long, 3 metres wide and 13 metres high. The
four Chinese Characters inscribed by Dr. Sun
Yat-sun, first president of the Republic China
mean "eternal noble spirit".

of the Seventy-two Martyrs |
| ¡¡¡¡On
April 27, 1911, Tongmenghui launched an uprising
that failed. Peilun Yu, Wen Lin, Jumin Lin, Shingdong
Fang and over 100 other Participants died. Mr.
Dawei Pan collected seventy-two bodies then and
buried them here.¡£ |

| Silent Pond |

¡¡¡¡Silence Pond
was built up in 1921. The gentle archway of
the bridge causes visitors to lower their heads
as they walk across it, as if paying silent
tribute to the martyrs.

| Memorial Walls |

¡¡¡¡Erected in 1921. The front and
the back walls are made of 72 stones each, symbolizing
72 martyrs. Each stone is inscribed with the
names of individuals or organizations who donated
to establishing the cemetery.

Pillars |
| ¡¡¡EErected in March, 1926. This pair
of 3-metre-high violane pillars are flying dragons
embodying the undaunished fighting spirit of the
Chinese People. |

| SQUARE
POND |
| ¡¡¡¡ Built in 1921, the pond
was contributed by the 1 and 2 Branches of the
Chinese Guomingtang in Philippines. On the walls
around the pond were carved some Chinese characters
meaning the 72 martyrs' houses with ponds nearby. |

Tree Planted by Dr. Sun Yat-sun |
| ¡¡¡DMr. sun Yat-sun
planted four pine trees when the cemetery was
completed in 1912. But only this one has survived. |

| Tomb
of Dawei Pan |
| ¡¡Dawei Pan, from Panyu, Guangdong
Province, joined Tongmenghui in 1906. After the
failure of Mar.29 uprising, he took a risk persuading
Guangren Charity Organization to collect the martyrs'
bodies and using his house as a deposit, he bought
this place then called Honghua Gang and buried
the 72 deceased. Later the name Honghua Gang was
changed to Huanghua Gang. |

Corridor |
| Along the south path of the park
there are twelve tablets contributed by individuals
and organizations. The inscriptions on the tablets
express their respect and mourning for the deceased. |
